Network Installation & Upgrades

Installing new networks is what we do best. Typically, we can upgrade your existing server to your new server over a weekend without any interruption to your firm’s normal operations. We use the Swing Migration so that no changes are required to your workstations to operate with the new Server. As a result, there were no problems and the transition of their applications and files to the new server was seamless.

We prepare a proposal which includes equipment costs and installation time and expense to assure that our plans are well defined and we stay within our client’s budget. Once a client’s proposal is approved, we move forward with installation quickly and efficiently. We schedule installation at a time which is most convenient for the client and minimizes network down-time.

Each new client is assigned a specific technician. We have found that our clients feel more comfortable having a designated technician, who knows them and their network intricately. Each of our technicians have experience installing networks for firms with as many as 2 servers and 30 workstations, as well as single-user networks with only one workstation. Our technicians are flexible and understanding. After each install, they take the time necessary to test each machine to make sure the user(s) is comfortable with their system’s setup and functions and that everything works properly.

Design One has a dedicated account representative from all the major manufactures including Microsoft, Hewlett Packard and Symantec Partner. These relationships ensure our clients receive the best and most current information on each product and service installed.
